AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. Awana is a global, nonprofit ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him. We strive to bury God’s word in our hearts and lives while building everlasting relationship and testimonials of God’s love for us.
Beginning at 5:30pm, AWANA night begins with a time of reciting our key verse, pledges to the US Flag, Christian flag and to the Bible. We then step and sing along to the AWANA song, followed by a short Biblical object lesson from one of our AWANA leaders. Then we have age-graded class time for children to dive into the Word of God with caring and knowledgeable leaders. We follow class time with fellowship in games and a full meal.
We invite you to join us any Sunday night, Sept – May, at 5:30 pm. Ages range from 3 to 6th grade. For 7th – 8th grades, we now have available AWANA Trek for those who want to continue their Awana journey. Otherwise, for 7th – 12th grades we encourage you to check out our Youth Ministry!
Our new Awana year will begin on Sept. 9, 2018, but you can join at any time. Please complete this registration form and bring it with you.
